Jefferson Building visits beside the Capitol
Why groups go
Classes tour the Jefferson Building for architecture, research, and civics. It is often paired with a Capitol visit. Those are two appointments, not one vague 'Capitol Hill' stop.
The library's own visitor rules cover bags, entry, and where groups gather.
Bus drop-off and loading
- Name the building and the appointment time.
- Hill streets are controlled. We confirm the stop in the quote rather than promising a door-to-door pull-up.
Washington, DC and Prince George's, Charles, and Montgomery counties are the local area named on this site. Sending a request does not reserve a vehicle.
